Oak Park Imaging Services offers a brand new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, a state-of-the-art imaging technique enabling medical professionals to see deep within the human body in a noninvasive way. The system consists of a series of powerful electromagnets in the shape of a large tube, which surrounds the patient, enveloping him or her in a powerful magnetic field.
