Team Physician for Chicago Bulls is New Chair of Surgery

Brian Cole, MD, is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and practices out of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush offices in Oak Park and Chicago.

Oak Park, IL (January 18, 2012) — Rush Oak Park Hospital is excited to announce that Brian Cole, MD, team physician for the Chicago Bulls and co-team physician for the Chicago White Sox, is the new Chair of Surgery.

Dr. Cole is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and practices out of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush offices in Oak Park and Chicago. In addition to being team physician for the Chicago Bulls, he was named the NBA Team Physician of the Year in 2009.

Dr. Cole joined the medical staff of Rush Oak Park Hospital in December 1997. He is a professor at Rush University Medical Center, where he is section head of the Cartilage Research Program in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
