Prompt Evaluation & Treatment

The Breast Center’s multi-disciplinary team of specialists uses up-to-the-minute and proven diagnostic tools to offer prompt evaluation and treatment of breast disease. Radiologists, oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, nurses, technologists, and therapists work as a team to develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient.

Following a mammogram, we will, in most cases, have the results within 24 hours. If an abnormality or lump is detected, our staff uses a variety of methods—including ultrasound, fine needle aspiration, needle localization, stereotactic breast biopsy, and ultrasound-guided core biopsy—to make an accurate diagnosis.
