Pulmonary Rehabilitation

For people with chronic lung disease, simple tasks like walking up a flight of stairs or getting dressed in the morning can involve a struggle for breath. At Rush Oak Park Hospital, breathing is made better through our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, a 10-week program designed to help individuals build strength and endurance, improve their quality of life, and reduce acute hospital admissions.

Candidates for the program are referred by their physician. For more information or to refer a patient, call 708-660-LUNG (5864). Click Find a physician to search for a physician who specializes in pulmonary medicine, or call 708-660-INFO (4636).
