ROPH welcomes two new board members

Oak Park, IL (Jan. 18, 2016) --

Rush Oak Park Hospital is pleased to announce two new members to its board of directors. Gary McCullough and Anthony Mitchell round out the six-member panel effective immediately.

McCullough is the chief executive officer of ARI Packaging and an investor/advisor for Abundant Venture Partners. The former U.S. Army officer has been a member of the board of trustees at Rush University Medical Center since 2011.

Mitchell, a graduate of Yale University, is the vice president of communications for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He also serves on the board of directors of Housing Forward, a nonprofit organization in Oak Park.

Both McCullough and Mitchell are longtime residents of Oak Park.

“Our two newest board members not only embody the spirit and energy of the community we serve, they bring talent and knowledge to the table,” said Bruce Elegant, president and CEO of the hospital. “We’re pleased to have Mr. McCullough and Mr. Mitchell by our side as we continue to provide expert and compassionate health care for the community.”
