Founded in 1907, the Auxiliary of Rush Oak Park Hospital has been a gateway for involvement in a health care institution that has served the community for more than a century.
Driven by a spirit of giving, Auxiliary provides invaluable support by raising money to enhance the hospital environment with new medical equipment — a service that helps to ensure that Rush Oak Park Hospital provides the highest quality of health care to patients.
Every year the Auxiliary holds the Golf Classic, a major fundraiser. Over the past several years, funds raised and donations made from the golf outings have been used to purchase patient care equipment for the Intensive Care Unit, Same-Day Surgery Unit, Center for Diabetes and Endocrine Care, and Breast Center and Respiratory Therapy as well as to support the safety and security of the hospital’s patients and employees by purchasing a new campus security vehicle.
