Breast Imaging

State-of-the-art imaging, close to home

Mammograms are an essential breast cancer screening tool. The Rush Oak Park Hospital Breast Imaging Center offers convenient access to expert breast care in a warm, caring environment designed to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Our team of compassionate, highly trained breast imaging radiologists provides personalized, precision breast screening. That means we work with you to select the imaging options that best match your health history as well as your unique needs.

First, we review your medical and family history to assess your risk of breast cancer, and we determine your breast density. We use that information to create your custom screening plan.

The vast majority of breast cancers detected through screening at Rush are found in the earliest stages, which is when they’re most curable. If our team suspects breast cancer, we’ll work closely with Rush’s multidisciplinary team of breast cancer specialists — including physicians who practice in both Chicago and Oak Park — to create a personalized care plan for you.
