The new, state-of-the-art emergency department at Rush Oak Park Hospital is conveniently located just west of downtown Chicago at 520 S. Maple Ave. in Oak Park. The entrance is at the corner of Madison Street and Maple Avenue.
Whether you arrive with a potentially life-threatening condition — like chest pain, heart failure or pneumonia — or a minor illness or injury, you can expect swift, professional and compassionate care in the newly renovated Rush Oak Park Hospital emergency department (ED).
Our 22,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art ED was designed with comfort, safety and efficiency in mind. It features 22 private treatment rooms, two behavioral health rooms and a decontamination room, plus an expansive triage area with three triage rooms for faster check-ins. New ultrasound and CT suites are conveniently located just steps away from the ED, making it easier for patients to have imaging done, and for providers to diagnose problems more rapidly.
The building is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified, with environmentally-friendly features like an expansive green roof and energy-saving occupancy sensors. Approximately 92 percent of debris from construction was recycled, diverting those materials from landfills.
