No one likes to talk about death - especially their own. Sometimes people think that this conversation is only for when you're sick or older, but talking to your loved ones about advance care planning while you're still healthy and able to express your wishes is very important. Learn tips for how to start this crucial conversation.

Parkinson's Disease Support Group

This group meets the second Saturday of every month (except August) at Rush Oak Park Hospital in the Centennial Room.

The program is an educational and support group for both care-partners and patients. More advanced patients are welcome, though the group is not exclusive to patients at other stages. This group begins with a continental breakfast at 9:30am, followed by an hour-long education series. In the last hour, patients and care-partners split into two groups to discuss separately.

Epilepsy Support Group

Meets the first and third Tuesday of the month, 6 to 8 p.m.

WomenHeart Support Network

Join the WomenHeart Support Network at Rush Oak Park Hospital. WomenHeart is a national organization dedicated to advancing women's heart health through advocacy, community education and patient support.

The group meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
