Community Partnerships

To help make our community a healthier place, Rush Oak Park Hospital works closely with other local organizations that have deep roots here.

For example, we collaborate with them to provide health education and screenings, and we participate in health fairs and community events to promote healthy living. Members of our nursing and Human Resources teams volunteer to conduct mock interviews with Oak Park and River Forest High School (OPRFHS) students preparing for careers in health care; we also hire and train special education students from OPRFHS, which helps them learn marketable skills and maximize their independence. And our employees give their time as volunteers for organizations that help build community health.
